Matt Ryan, who gave up last week following 15 years in the NFL, will join CBS Sports as a studio ace on The NFL Today and Phil Simms and Boomer Esiason will leave after broad unforeseen spikes famous for the show, the affiliation articulated Monday.
Ryan will join James Brown, Nate Burleson, Bill Cowher, and JJ Watt. The 2016 NFL MVP and four-time Virtuoso Bowl quarterback joined CBS Sports last season as an NFL game reviewer and showed up in the studio during the completion of the time games and Super Bowl.
“Matt had a wonderful first year at CBS Sports, predominant as both a studio and game expert,” CBS Sports president and Supervisor David Berson said. “He is the quintessential supportive individual and an Entrance of Capability individual.
